Ovid form, decorated in underglaze blue, iron red and gilding high domed cover surmounted by a Kara-Shishi on rockwork finial.
Date: late 17th century-early 18th century (Genroku period)
Height: 63 cm
Condition: a tiny old chip on the edge of cover, secure pin of final is slightly loose and some gilding lost on the rockwork, otherwise generally in good condition.
