Lacquered wood Kogo (incense box).
Raised gold lacquer on the rid with a oak mon (crest) of Higashi Honganji temple and also the crest of Kokonoe family in Edo.
Nashiji at interior and the bottom of the box.
Size: 6 cm X 6 cm X 1.3 cm
Date: mid. to late 19th century
Condition: a few minor light scraches, otherwise in fine condition.
