           The set based on the seven famous episodes in the life of the famous Heian beauty and                           poetess Ono-no-Komachi(c.825-c.900).

Signature: Utamaro hitsu

Printed date: c.1805

Condition: Good impression, some faded colors, some soiling, top corners repaied and generally in fine condition.

Translation of the poem:   In this world,

                                           Where those who live, die

                                           And those who have died, multiply

                                           How much longer will I,
